WAUPACA COUNTY PUBLIC PROPERTY COMMITTEE

MINUTES – October 10, 2014

Chr. Johnson called the meeting to order at 9:35 a.m. and gave the open meeting statement.

Roll call.   Suprs. Zaug and Rohan present.  Suprs. Boyer and Spierings were excused.  Others present:  Steve Hart and Leighton Trice.

Review and Approve agenda.  Motion:  Supr. Zaug moved and Supr. Rohan seconded the motion to approve the agenda.  The motion carried without a negative vote.

Minutes-September 12, 2014.  Motion:  Supr. Zaug moved and Supr. Rohan seconded the motion to correct the minutes to state that Chr. Johnson was excused.  The motion carried without a negative vote.

Public Comment.  None.

Maintenance Updates – Leighton Trice, Maintenance Director.  

E C & D.  Someone from E C & D is in the building today checking out the system.  Leighton has made adjustments to the heating system.  Leighton would like to give the committee a tour of the heating systems areas.   Chr. Johnson would like to see the list of building concerns and what concerns have been taken care of.

2015 Budget.  Leighton explained that the $22,000 for the panic buttons has been added to the capital improvement projects budget. 

Courthouse Water Pressure.  Leighton is waiting for a part and the job will be done on a weekend because the water will need to be shut off. 

Adjourn.  Motion:  Supr. Rohan moved and Supr. Zaug seconded the motion to adjourn the meeting at 9:55 a.m.  Motion carried without a negative vote.
