WAUPACA COUNTY PUBLIC PROPERTY COMMITTEE

MINUTES – FEBRURY 13, 2014

 

Chr. Mares called the meeting to order at 9:05 a.m. and gave the open meeting statement.

 

Roll call.   Chr. Mares, Suprs. Boyer--excused, Johnson, Morgan, and Zaug present.  Others present:  Leighton Trice, Chuck Price, and Mary Robbins.

 

Review and Approve agenda.  Motion:  Supr. Zaug moved and Supr. Morgan seconded the motion to approve the agenda.  The motion carried without a negative vote.

 

Review and Approve minutes.  Motion:  Supr. Morgan moved and Supr. Johnson seconded the motion to approve the minutes of the January meeting.  The motion carried without a negative vote.

 

No Public Comment.

  

OPTIONS ON MARGINAL COUNTY OWNED LAND TOWN OF ROYALTON.  Check zoning regulations, check amount of land, check wetlands, do an onsite when weather permits, and check land values.  Agenda item for a future meeting.

 

UPDATE ON VENDING MACHINES.  Clerk Robbins said the Fox Valley Vending will be removing their machines on February 13th .  Express Vending will be putting a soda machine in and then the remaining machines the weekend of February 22nd.

 

Maintenance Updates – Leighton Trice.   

 

Discussion on frontline security buttons for everyone across the hall on first floor by the main entrance.  Leighton explained the problems they were having with the existing alarm buttons and that has been identified and they are in progress of getting the proper training and set up for those buttons, the alarms go to the communication center at the Law Enforcement Center.  He will order alarms for across the front on first floor and any others he feels are necessary.

 

The Door to the back of the county board room storage room has been measured and ordered.

 

Committee toured DHHS Healthy Beginnings area to see the mural painted on their wall.  Kasey Kaepernick explained the project and how beneficial it is as a calming effect to the children.

 

Adjourn.  Motion:  Supr. Johnson moved and Supr. Zaug seconded the motion to adjourn the meeting at 9:32 a.m.  Meeting is adjourned.
