WAUPACA COUNTY PUBLIC PROPERTY COMMITTEE

MINUTES – February 14, 2013

 

Chr. Lloyd Mares called the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m. and gave the open meeting statement.

 

Roll call.   Chr. Mares, Suprs. Johnson, Morgan and Zaug present.  Others present:  Clyde Tellock, Supr. Bob Ellis and Steve Hart.

 

Review and Approve agenda.  Motion:  Supr. Zaug moved and Supr. Johnson seconded the motion to approve the agenda.  The motion carried without a negative vote.

 

Review and Approve minutes.  Motion:  Supr. Johnson moved and Supr. Zaug seconded the motion to approve the minutes of the previous meeting, January 10.  The motion carried without a negative vote.

 

DHHS Director Chuck Price – 2nd Floor Lobby.  No report this month.  Continued to the next meeting.

 

In-Rem Property:  Received a bid of $15,000 for Lot No. 46 from Dolores Juergens.  The County’s actual cost for this lot is $8,000 and the City has it assessed at $14,000.  Motion:  Supr. Johnson moved and Supr. Morgan seconded the motion to accept the bid of $15,000 for Lot No. 46.  The motion carried without a negative vote.

 

Supr. Bob Ellis submitted a bid for 8 lots at $1,500 per lot.  Associated Bank is in negotiations with a buyer to purchase the condominium lots.  Motion:  Supr. Zaug moved and Supr. Morgan seconded the motion to table Supr. Ellis’ bids until the committee finds out the sale price of the condominium lots.  The motion carried without a negative vote.

 

Maintenance Updates – Leighton Trice.  No report this month.

 

Adjourn.  Motion:  Supr. Morgan moved and Supr. Johnson seconded the motion to adjourn the meeting at 9:30 a.m.  Meeting is adjourned.
