WAUPACA COUNTY PUBLIC PROPERTY COMMITTEE

MINUTES – October 11, 2012

 

Chair Lloyd Mares called the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m. and gave the open meeting statement.

 

Roll call.   Chr.  Mares, Suprs. Boyer--excused, Johnson, Morgan and Zaug, all present.  Others present:  Leighton Trice, Mary Robbins, Melissa Stoiber and Clyde Tellock.

 

Review and Approve agenda.  Motion:  Supr. Johnson moved and Supr.  Zaug seconded the motion to approve the revised agenda.  The motion carried without a negative vote.

 

Review and Approve minutes.  Motion:  Supr. Johnson moved and Supr. Boyer seconded the motion to approve the minutes of the previous meeting, Sept. 13th.  The motion carried without a negative vote.

 

IN-REM PROPERTY-OPEN BIDS. Clyde Tellock.  Clyde brought the committee up to date on properties that were not bid on or had questions on.

 

Listing No. 6, Parcel #02-26-12-8, E9177 School Road, Readfield, in the Town of Caledonia. Motion:  Supr. Johnson moved and Supr. Zaug seconded the motion to accept the offer from Bruce Walker in the amount of $6,300 with the legal removal of the current occupant Dave Becker, the committee has authorized Treasurer Clyde Tellock to finalize the sale.  The motion carried without a negative vote.

 

Water Purifier System – Melissa Stoiber.  Melissa explained that EO Johnson would install 3 water purifier systems with no installation cost, one in the breakroom with cold and hot water, one on second floor with cold and hot water and one on the third floor with just cold water.  There will be a $50.00 monthly charge that will be taken out of the EAP funds.  Chief Deputy Al Kraeger spoke on behalf of the system they have 4 over at the LEC.  They will check with Highway in the future.  Motion:  Supr. Zaug moved and Supr. Morgan seconded the motion to approve the installation as stated.  The motion carried without a negative vote.

 

Maintenance Updates – Leighton Trice.  2013 Budget Review.  Motion:  Supr. Zaug moved and Supr. Morgan seconded the motion to approve the proposed 2013 Maintenance Budget.  The motion carried without a negative vote.

 

Adjourn.  Motion:  Supr. Johnson moved and Supr. Zaug seconded the motion to adjourn the meeting at 9:45 a.m.  Meeting is adjourned.
