MEETING MINUTES

Proposal Opening

March 24, 2014

Courthouse, Waupaca

Chair McClone called the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m.

Present:           Joe McClone, Roger Holman and John Francis.

Also present:   Dustin Dorsey (Wood Sewer & Excavating), and Paul Zimmer (Great Lakes Region Organizing Committee)

McClone gave the open meeting statement.

Motion by Holman, seconded by Francis to approve the agenda.  Motion carried.

McClone stated the purpose of the meeting was to open proposals for the replacement of the Fairgrounds water main meter pit and installing a bypass system.

Holman opened and read the following proposals:

Contractor Bid Amount

DeGroot, Inc., Green Bay                                          $28,000          

Poppy Plumbing & Heating, Inc., New London        $17,740          

Wood Sewer & Excavating, Inc.                                $59,550

Holman explained that after the proposals are open and read, the Park staff will review them for completeness and present them to the Park & Rec. Committee at their meeting on Thursday, April 10 for approval to award the winning proposal.

Motion by Holman, seconded by Francis to adjourn.  Motion carried.
