MEETING MINUTES

Oct. 2, 2012

Camp Vic-To-Rae, New London

Chair McClone called the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m.

Present:           Joe McClone, Lee Much, Don Peterson, and Gene Sorensen.

Also Present:   Roger Holman and John Francis.

McClone gave the open meeting statement.

Motion by Peterson, seconded by Sorensen to approve the agenda.  Motion carried.

Motion by Much, seconded by Sorensen to approve the minutes of Sept. 18 & 21, 2012.  Motion carried.

There was no correspondence for Committee action.

McClone opened the meeting for public comment.  There was none.

Holman reported that the 2013 budget has been presented to the Finance Committee.  The budget came in with an increase of approximately $127,000 which is what is allowed due to new construction.  The Finance Committee still needs to address new positions.  The budget will be read on Oct. 30 and acted on Nov. 13.

Holman reported that the Management Team finished up the 2013 budget and is waiting for the evaluation process to be finished so they can review it.

Francis & Holman updated the Committee on Gills Landing seawall repairs and the Crystal River/Little Hope Dam draw-down.

The next meeting was set for Nov. 6 at 8:30 a.m.

The Committee completed a tour of Camp Vic-To-Rae, Sturgeon Trail, and Shaws Landing.

Motion by Peterson, seconded by Sorensen to adjourn.  Motion carried.

The meeting adjourned at noon.
