NATURAL RESOURCES FOUNDATION

ANNUAL MEETING MINUTES

                                                                                                                                    October 29, 2014

                                                                                                                                    Courthouse, Waupaca

Vice Chair Sambs called the meeting to order at 3:30 p.m.

Present:           Pat Phair, Dan Sambs, Clyde Tellock, Jim Hlaban, Robert Besaw, Mike Mazemke, Jay Sturm, Joe McClone, and Al Wichmann (Larry Dieck, Ben Durfee, and Linda Kassera were absent)

Motion by McClone, seconded by Besaw to approve the agenda.  Motion carried.

Motion by Wichmann, seconded by McClone to approve the August 27, 2014 minutes.  Motion carried.

Phair arrived at this time.

There was no correspondence for Foundation action.

Tellock presented the Treasurer’s report.  Discussion occurred on document accounts with Holman volunteering to contact the groups to determine their status.

Motion by Hlaban, seconded by McClone to approve the Treasurer’s report.  Motion carried.

Discussion followed on the Board members terms that are up at the end of 2014.  Tellock, Besaw, Sturm, and Durfee have all agreed to another term.

Motion by Hlaban, seconded by Holman to cast a unanimous ballot for Tellock, Besaw, Sturm, and Durfee to succeed themselves on the Board.  Motion carried unanimously.

Discussion occurred on the current slate of officers:  Phair-President, Sambs-Vice President, Tellock-Treasurer and Hlaban-Secretary.

Motion by McClone, seconded by Besaw to suspend the rules and cast a unanimous ballot for all officers to succeed themselves.  Motion carried unanimously.

There were no Committee reports.

Holman updated the Board on projects including the Waupaca Friends Group, Manawa Trail Group, and County projects.

The following dates were set for 2015 meetings:  March 25, May 27, August 26, and October 28.

Motion by McClone, seconded by Hlaban to adjourn.  Motion carried.
