Chr. Kussmann called the meeting to order at 8:30 a.m. and gave the open meeting statement.

 

Roll call:  Dennis Kussmann, Mary Kay Poehlman, Dave Neumann, Dona Gabert and Terry Murphy.  A quorum was established.  Others present:  Co. Bd. Chr. Koeppen, Supr. Craig and Mary Robbins.

 

Agenda:  Motion:  Supr. Neumann and Supr. Gabert seconded the motion to approve the agenda.  The motion was carried without a negative vote.

 

Public Comment – No comments.

 

Reviewed Ch. 1 & Ch. 2, County Code of Ordinances.

 

Discussion on number of authorized meetings for NACO, pg. 10. Rule 12.4 (b) Chr. Kussmann felt there should be a limit on the number of meetings that a person may attend.  Legislative Conference and Annual Conference would be acceptable.  All additional educational conference attendance shall be at the discretion of the chair.  Motion:  Supr. Neumann moved and Supr. T. Murphy seconded the motion.

 

Rule 2.06 Standing Committees needs to be consistent with Ch. 1, insert definition of Standing Committee.

 

Page 19, 2.06 a. Human Service Board, remove total definition and add per Wis. State Statute Section 46.

 

Rule 13.1 (1) add if practicable this shall be done within thirty (30) days. (add to the appendix)

 

13.1 (4) change not more than five to not more than 10 days after the meeting is held.

 

Correct the appendix to match any changes made.

 

These corrections according to the duties of this committee shall be presented to the full Executive Committee for review prior to County Board action.

 

Chr. Kussmann will ask the Board Chair to remove from today’s County Board agenda Ch. 1 & Ch. 2 and that Legislative, Judicial, Ethics, Safety & Security changes are presented to the Executive Committee for further review and then sent on to the County Board.

 

Adjourn.  Motion:  Supr. Gabert moved and Supr. Poehlman seconded the motion to adjourn the meeting at 8:50 a.m.  Chr. Kussmann declared the meeting adjourned.
