Chr. Kussmann called the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m. and gave the open meeting statement.

Roll call:  Dennis Kussmann, Mary Kay Poehlman, Dave Neumann, Martin Mares-absent, and Terry Murphy were present.  All members present.  Others present:  Corporation Counsel Jeff Siewert, Emergency Management Director Andy Carlin and County Clerk Mary Robbins.

Agenda:  Supr. Poehlman moved and Supr. Murphy seconded the motion to approve the agenda with removing the election of officers.  The motion was carried without a negative vote.

Minutes of previous meeting.  Supr. Murphy moved and Supr. Poehlman seconded the motion to approve the minutes of the previous meeting. The motion was carried without a negative vote.

Reports.

                Corporation Counsel Jeff Siewert.  Jeff would like to be able to e-mail his report to all members, that way they can have it in advance to review and ask any questions.  His Child Support office will be fully staffed by June 4, 2012.

Emergency Management Director Andrew Carlin.  Discussion on safety for fire drills, tornado drills and updating the brochure for all employees.  Our plan looks good, and it is up to date, just need an easier way to print it off.  Discussed the security at the front doors, right now it is only used if ordered by a Judge or the Sheriff.

Chr. Kussmann informed the new members that they do attend a quarterly meeting at Mosinee to discuss legislative issues that affect counties and they are welcome to attend.  The Clerk’s office sends out an agenda, there are about 5 counties that have this joint meeting.

Adjourn.  Motion:  Supr. Mares moved and Supr. Neumann seconded the motion to adjourn the meeting at 9:40 a.m.  Meeting adjourned.
