LAKEVIEW MANOR COMMITTEE MEETING

MINUTES

3/24/15

1. Chairman Sorensen called the meeting to order at 9AM in the Lakeview Manor Conference Room.

2. Roll call Supervisors Penney, Johnson, and Sorensen.  Also present is Megan Feirtag, Nursing Home Administrator and Elizabeth Miller, Business Office Manager.  Supervisors Barrington and Handrich excused.

3. Moved by Supervisor Penney seconded by Supervisor Johnson to accept the agenda as written.  Motion carried.

4. Moved by Supervisor Penney, seconded by Supervisor Johnson to approve minutes 2/24/15.  Motion carried.

5. Megan Feirtag, Administrator gave report to include following:

a. Current census at Lakeview Manor  33

i. Medicaid             20

ii. Medicare/Insurance       2

iii. Private Pay         4

iv. Family Care         4

v. Hospice                2

vi. Partnership        1

b. There were no outstanding grievances to report since the last committee meeting.

6. The Committee reviewed Disbursements for February ’15, January ’15, and Financials.  It was noted that Lakeview is ahead of budget for the month and year to date.  Motion by Johnson seconded by Penney to approve reports.  Motion carried.

7. Megan Feirtag reported on the possibility for Lakeview Manor to be a part of a consortium with area counties.  It was explained that a service not offered by other counties is needed to create a consortium.  This may be a possibility with the addition of a memory care CBRF.

8. Lakeview Manor staff is currently working on gathering necessary information to present the addition of a CBRF to the committee.

9. Motion to go into closed session pursuant to Wis. State Stats. Sec. 19.85(1)(c) for performance evaluation of an employee under the Lakeview Manor Committee jurisdiction. Motion by Johnson seconded by Penney. Roll Call vote: Sorenson-yes, Johnson-yes, Penney-yes.

10. CLOSED SESSION

11. Adjourn in Closed Session.  Motion by Johnson seconded by Penney to adjourn at 9:30AM. Roll call vote:  Johnson-yes, Sorenson-yes, Penney-yes.   Meeting was adjourned.

Next meeting to be held in the Lakeview Manor Conference room on April 28, 2015 at 9AM.
