LAKEVIEW MANOR COMMITTEE MEETING

MINUTES

12/16/14

1.       Chairman Barrington called the meeting to order at 10:20AM in the Lakeview Manor Conference Room.

2.       Roll call Supervisors Barrington, Penney, Handrich, Johnson, and Sorensen.  Also present are Melissa Goke, Business Office Manager, Megan Feirtag, Nursing Home Administrator, and Supervisors Gerald Murphy, Poehlman, Boyer, and Craig.  

3.       Moved by Supervisor Handrich seconded by Supervisor Johnson to accept the agenda as written.  Motion carried.

4.       Moved by Supervisor Penney, seconded by Supervisor Sorensen to approve minutes 11/25/14.  Motion carried.

5.       Megan Feirtag, Administrator gave report to include following:

a.       Current census at Lakeview Manor  38

                                                               i.      Medicaid             22

                                                             ii.      Medicare/Insurance       4

                                                            iii.      Private Pay         5

                                                           iv.      Family Care         6

                                                             v.      Hospice                1

b.      There were no incidents to report.

6.       The Committee reviewed Disbursements for November ’14 and Financials.  It was noted that Lakeview is ahead of budget year to date.  Motion by Johnson seconded by Sorensen to approve reports.  Motion carried.

7.       Lakeview Manor sought approval to expand their capital budget to purchase a van which is needed for appointments and delivery of MOW.  The funds would be taken out of LVM’s saving account.  Motion made by Supervisor Sorensen to approve the additional funds for the van from the LVM savings account pending approval from Heidi Dombrowski seconded by Supervisor Penney. Motion carried. 

8.       Lakeview Manor reported that the purchase of a van for MOW and activity use was approved by the Finance Committee.  The funds to purchase the van will be coming out of the Lakeview Manor savings account.

9.       Lakeview Manor announced their want to join the petition to increase the reimbursement given to their current labor region.  Motion to approve the joining of the petition was made by Handrich, seconded by Sorensen.

10.   The report to be given to the Ad Hoc committee was presented to the committee.

11.   Moved by Supervisor Sorenson, seconded by Supervisor Penney to adjourn meeting at 11:00AM. Motion carried.

Next meeting to be held in the Lakeview Manor Conference room on January 27, 2015 at 9AM.
