LAKEVIEW MANOR COMMITTEE MEETING

MINUTES

8/25/14

1. Chairman Sorensen called the meeting to order at 9 AM in the Lakeview Manor Conference Room.

2. Roll call Supervisors Johnson, Penney, and Sorenson.  Also present are Melissa Goke, Business Office Manager and Megan Feirtag, Nursing Home Administrator.  Supervisor Barrington is excused.

3. Moved by Supervisor Johnson seconded by Supervisor Penney to accept the agenda as written.  Motion carried.

4. Moved by Supervisor Handrich, seconded by Supervisor Johnson to approve minutes 7/28/14.  Motion carried.

5. Megan Feirtag, Administrator gave report to include following:

a. Current census at Lakeview Manor  37

i. Medicaid             23

ii. Medicare/Insurance       2

iii. Private Pay         8

iv. Family Care         4

v. Hospice                0

b. There were no outstanding grievances to report.

6. The Committee reviewed Disbursements for July ’14 and Financials.  It was noted that Lakeview is ahead of budget monthly and year to date.  Motion by Johnson seconded by Penney to approve reports.  Motion carried.

7. Budget decisions were discussed.  Motion by Sorenson seconded by Johnson to approve two budget items as presented.  Motion carried.  Budget meeting for entire budget approval scheduled for September 8, 2014 at 9am in the Lakeview Manor Conference room.

8. Motion to go into closed session pursuant to Wis. State Stats. Sec. 19.85(1)(c) for performance evaluation of an employee under the Finance/Human Resource Committee jurisdiction.  Roll Call vote: Sorenson-yes, Johnson-yes, Handrich-yes, Penney-yes.

9. CLOSED SESSION

10. Adjourn in Closed Session.  Motion:  Johnson moved and Penney seconded the motion to adjourn at 10AM. Roll call vote:  Johnson-yes, Handrich-yes, Sorenson-yes, Penney-yes.   Meeting was adjourned.

Next meeting to be held in the Lakeview Manor Conference room on September 29, 2014 at 1 PM.
