LAKEVIEW MANOR COMMITTEE MEETING

MINUTES

3/24/14

1. Chairman Barrington called the meeting to order at 9:00 AM in the Lakeview Manor Conference Room.

2. Roll call Supervisors Barrington, Johnson and Penney, Mares, Sorensen, Federwitz, Carrie Baxter-Crist Resident Services Coordinator, Melissa Drews Administrator and Melissa Goke Business Office Manager. 

3. Request to change agenda for Committee to hear from Lori Koeppel RN, NHA President Catalyst Health LLC after public comments.  Supervisor Johnson moved to accept the amended agenda seconded by Supervisor Mares.  Motion carried.

4. Motion to approve minutes of 2/24/14 made by Supervisor Penney and seconded by Supervisor Johnson.  Motion carried.

5. Public Comments:  None

6. Committee heard from Lori Koeppel President Catalyst Health LLC regarding analysis of current resident population.  Lori provided a report to the Committee identifying existing factors that differentiate the resident population at LVM from other skilled nursing facilities in the county.

7. Melissa Drews Administrator gave report to include following:

a. Current census at Lakeview Manor  37

i. Medicaid             22

ii. Medicare/Insurance       3

iii. Private Pay         8

iv. Family Care         4

v. Hospice                0

8. Report on outstanding grievances.   No outstanding grievances

9. The Committee heard from Melissa Goke, Business Office Manager regarding February ’14 financials.  Moved by Supervisor Sorensen seconded by Supervisor Johnson.  Motion carried to accept report.

10. Moved by Supervisor Johnson, seconded by Supervisor Mares to adjourn at 10:30 AM.  Motion carried.

11. Next meeting April 28, 2014.
