LAKEVIEW MANOR COMMITTEE MEETING

MINUTES

2/24/14

1. Chairman Barrington called the meeting to order at 9:00 AM in the Lakeview Manor Conference Room.

2. Roll call Supervisors Barrington, Johnson and Penney and Carrie Baxter-Crist Resident Services Coordinator, Melissa Drews Administrator.  Supervisor Mares and Supervisor Sorensen were excused.

3. Supervisor Johnson moved to accept the agenda as written seconded by Supervisor Penney.  Motion carried.

4. Motion to approve minutes of 2/3/14 made by Supervisor Penney and seconded by Supervisor Johnson.  Motion carried.

5. Public Comments:  None

6. Melissa Drews Administrator gave report to include following:

a. Current census at Lakeview Manor  37

i. Medicaid             22

ii. Medicare/Insurance       3

iii. Private Pay         9

iv. Family Care         3

v. Hospice                0

7. Report on outstanding grievances.   No outstanding grievances

8. The Committee heard from Melissa Drews, Administrator regarding January ’14 financials.  Moved by Supervisor Johnson seconded by Supervisor Penney.  Motion carried to accept report.

9. The Committee agreed to postpone any report and decisions regarding beds being placed in reserve.

10. The Committee agreed to postpone review and approval of architectural design contract.

11. Moved by Supervisor Johnson, seconded by Supervisor Penney to adjourn at 9:40 AM.  Motion carried.

12. Next meeting March 24, 2014.
