LAKEVIEW MANOR COMMITTEE MEETING

MINUTES

12/16/13

1.       Chairman Barrington called the meeting to order at 9:00 AM in the Lakeview Manor Conference Room.

2.       Roll call Supervisors Barrington, Johnson, Penney, Sorensen and Mares also present Melissa Goke Business Office Manager, Carrie Baxter-Crist Resident Services Coordinator, Melissa Drews Administrator. 

3.       Supervisor Johnson moved to accept the agenda as written seconded by Supervisor Mares.  Motion carried.

4.       Motion to approve minutes of 11/18/13 made by Supervisor Sorensen and seconded by Supervisor Penney.  Motion carried.

5.       Public Comments:  Questions regarding new project of CBRF from public as well as State Only payor sources. 

6.       Melissa Drews Administrator gave report to include following:

a.       Current census at Lakeview Manor  38

                                                               i.      Medicaid             24

                                                             ii.      Medicare/Insurance       3

                                                            iii.      Private Pay         9

                                                           iv.      Family Care         2

                                                             v.      Hospice                0

7.       Report on outstanding grievances.   No outstanding grievances, Report provided to Committee regarding a recent employee concern.

8.       The Committee heard from Melissa Goke, Business Office Manager, regarding Financials, Receipts and Disbursements for November ’13.  Motion made to approve reports by Supervisor Sorensen, seconded by Supervisor Mares.  Motion carried.

9.       Committee heard from facility staff regarding need for LTE Social Worker to assist with transition to new Administrator.  Motion to approve LTE Social Worker made by Supervisor Johnson, seconded by Supervisor Penney.  Motion carried.

10.   Melissa Drews Administrator updated committee on status of Architect/CBRF plans.  Architect has toured facility, taken pictures and completed some measurements.  Meeting with facility staff on 12/19/13 with tentative drawings for discussion. 

11.   Moved by Supervisor Penney, Seconded by Supervisor Sorensen to adjourn at 10:05 AM.  Motion carried.

12.   Next meeting January 27th 2014.
