LAKEVIEW MANOR COMMITTEE MEETING

MINUTES

10/14/13

1. Chairman Barrington called the meeting to order at 10:15 AM in the Lakeview Manor Chapel.

2. Roll call Supervisors Barrington, Johnson, Sorensen, Penney and Mares also present Melissa Goke Business Office Manager, Carrie Baxter-Crist Resident Services Coordinator and Melissa Drews Nursing Home Administrator. 

3. Agenda amended to correct report date for Financial and Receipts Disbursements for 8/13.  Moved by Supervisor Sorensen seconded by Supervisor Johnson to accept the amended agenda.  Motion carried.

4. Motion to approve minutes of 9/10/13 made by Supervisor Johnson and seconded by Supervisor Mares.  Motion carried.

5. Public Comments:  Agenda Item #10 moved forward.  Explanation of proposed Lakeview Manor resolution.   Supervisor Boyer, Supervisor Craig and County Board Chair Dick Koeppens present and heard by Lakeview Manor Committee.

6. Melissa Drews Nursing Home Administrator gave report to include following:

a. Current census at Lakeview Manor  38

i. Medicaid         24

ii. Medicare/Insurance   2

iii. Private Pay      8

iv. Family Care     3

v. Hospice           1

7. Report on outstanding grievances.   None at present

8. The Committee heard from Melissa Goke regarding Financials and Receipts/Disbursements for 8/13.    Supervisor Johnson motioned to approve report seconded by Supervisor Sorensen.  Motion carried.

9. The Lakeview Manor Committee heard from Melissa Goke regarding patronage account, Larsen Cooperative and the need for Lakeview Manor to open an account with Cooperative in order to receive a payout of monies available to Lakeview.

10. Moved by Supervisor Sorensen, Seconded by Supervisor Penney to adjourn at 11:25 AM.  Motion carried.

11. Next meeting will be 10/28/2013 in Lakeview Manor conference room.
