LAKEVIEW MANOR COMMITTEE MEETING

MINUTES

7/15/13

1. Chairman Barrington called the meeting to order at 9:00 AM in the Lakeview Manor Conference Room.

2. Roll call Supervisors Barrington, Johnson, Mares and Penney also present Melissa Drews Nursing Home Administrator.  Supervisor Sorensen was excused. 

3. Moved by Supervisor Mares seconded by Supervisor Johnson to accept the agenda as written.  Motion carried.

4. Minutes for meeting 7/1/2013 will be approved at next meeting 8/12/13.

5. Melissa Drews Nursing Home Administrator gave report to include following:

a. Current census at Lakeview Manor  36

i. Medicaid         24

ii. Medicare/Insurance   2

iii. Private Pay      8

iv. Family Care     2

v. Hospice           0

6. Report on outstanding grievances.   None at present

7. The Committee heard from Melissa Goke, Business Office Manager regarding Preliminary June ’13 Receipts and Disbursements.  Motion by Supervisor Johnson to approve report seconded by Supervisor Mares.  Motion Carried.

8. The Committee heard from Carol Luedtke, Dietary Manager regarding improvements in our dining process and success of Meals on Wheels program.

9. Moved by Supervisor Penney Seconded by Supervisor Mares to Adjourn at 9:45 AM.  Motion Carried .

10. Next meeting will be August 12th at 9:00 am in the Lakeview Manor Conference Room.
