LAKEVIEW MANOR COMMITTEE MEETING

MINUTES

7/1/13

1. Chairman Barrington called the meeting to order at 9:00 AM in the Lakeview Manor Conference Room.

2. Roll call Supervisors Barrington, Sorensen, Mares and Penney also present Melissa Drews Nursing Home Administrator.  Supervisor Johnson was excused. 

3. Moved by Supervisor Mares seconded by Supervisor Penney to accept the agenda as written.  Motion carried.

4. Moved by Supervisor Sorensen, seconded by Supervisor Mares to approve the minutes of 6/24/13.  Motion carried.

5. Melissa Drews Nursing Home Administrator gave report to include following:

a. Current census at Lakeview Manor  35

i. Medicaid         24

ii. Medicare/Insurance   0

iii. Private Pay      7

iv. Family Care     4

v. Hospice           0

6. Report on outstanding grievances.   None at present

7. The Committee reviewed projected Meals on Wheels costs as they relate to the Affordable Care Act.  Committee advises to submit new Bid allowing for those increased costs.

8. Moved by Supervisor Mares, seconded by Supervisor Penney to adjourn at 9:45 AM.  Motion carried.

9. Next meeting will be July 15th at 9:00 am in the Lakeview Manor Conference Room.  The Committee decided to meet the 2^nd and 4^th Monday of each month thereafter.
