LAKEVIEW MANOR COMMITTEE MEETING

MINUTES

3/25/13

1.      Chairman Barrington called the meeting to order at 9:00 AM in the Lakeview Manor Conference Room.

2.      Roll call Supervisors Johnson, Sorensen, and Penney also present are Melissa Goke Business Office Manager and Melissa Drews Nursing Home Administrator.  Supervisor Mares was excused.

3.      Moved by Supervisor Johnson seconded by Supervisor Sorensen to accept the agenda as written.  Motion carried.

4.      Minutes of 2/25/13 was amended to remove the word absent from minutes and add excused. Moved by Supervisor Sorensen, seconded by Supervisor Penney to approve the amended minutes of 2/25/13.  Motion carried.

5.      Melissa Drews Nursing Home Administrator gave report to include following:

a.      Current census at Lakeview Manor  41

                                                              i.      Medicaid         22

                                                            ii.      Medicare/Insurance   5

                                                          iii.      Private Pay      6

                                                           iv.      Family Care     6

                                                             v.      Hospice           2

6.      Report on outstanding grievances.   Have not heard of grievance progress for termination for falsifying time cards.  Complaint to EEOC regarding minor volunteer dismissed. 

7.      The Committee reviewed Disbursements and Financials for February ’13.  Motioned by Supervisor Johnson, Second by Supervisor Penney.  Motion carried.

8.      The Committee heard from Melissa Goke Business Office Manager regarding final 2012 income statement.

9.      The Committee approved touch screen computers for CNA documentation into electronic documentation system.  Motion made by Supervisor Sorensen, seconded by Supervisor Penney.

10.  Next meeting will be April 22th  at 9:00 am in the Lakeview Manor Conference Room.

11.  Moved by Supervisor Sorensen, seconded by Supervisor Penney to adjourn meeting at 10:00 AM.  Motion carried.
