LAKEVIEW MANOR COMMITTEE MEETING

MINUTES

6/20/12

1.      Chairman Barrington called the meeting to order at 9:00 AM in the Lakeview Manor Conference Room.

2.      Roll call Supervisors Barrington, Johnson, Sorensen, Penney, Mares, Melissa Goke, Business Office Manager and Melissa Drews Nursing Home Administrator.

3.      Moved by Supervisor Johnson to accept agenda as written seconded by Supervisor Mares.  Motion carried.

4.      Moved by Supervisor Penney, seconded by Supervisor Sorensen to approve minutes of 5/23/12.  Motion carried.

5.      Melissa Drews Nursing Home Administrator gave report to include following:

a.      Current census at Lakeview Manor  43 +1 in Hospital

                                                              i.      Medicaid         29

                                                            ii.      Medicare/Insurance   1

                                                          iii.      Private Pay      5

                                                           iv.      Family Care     6

                                                             v.      Hospice           2

6.      Report on outstanding grievances.   Terminated employee has filed a grievance awaiting date for hearing.

7.      The Committee heard from Melissa Goke regarding the May ‘12 financials. 

8.      The Committee reviewed Receipts and Disbursements for May ‘12.  Motion by Supr. Sorensen seconded by Supr. Mares to approve reports.  Motion carried.

9.      The Committee heard from Melissa Drews, Administrator regarding recent survey findings.

10.  The Committee heard from Melissa Drews Administrator regarding the need for an increase in employees in the maintenance department.  Moved by Supervisor Johnson, seconded by Supervisor Mares to approve a part-time maintenance position.  Motion carried.

11.  Next meeting will be July 18th in the Lakeview Manor Conference Room.

12.  Moved by Supervisor Sorensen, seconded by Supervisor Mares to adjourn meeting at 10:10 AM.  Motion carried.
