LAKEVIEW MANOR COMMITTEE MEETING

MINUTES

4/25/12

1. Chairman Barrington called the meeting to order at 9:00 AM in the Lakeview Manor Conference Room. 

2. Roll call: Supervisors Barrington, Johnson, Sorensen, Penney, Mares, Melissa Goke, Business Office Manager and  Melissa Drews Nursing Home Administrator.

3. Meeting began by election of Officers, Supervisor Johnson moved to elect Gary Barrington to Chairman.  Supervisor Mares seconded.  Motion Carried.  Motion made by Supervisor Gary Barrington to elect Gene Sorensen to Vice Chair, seconded by Supervisor Johnson, Motion carried.  The Committee elected Gary Barrington to Chairman and Gene Sorensen to Vice Chair.

4. Melissa Drews, Administrator requested amending the agenda to include introduction of Director of Nursing.  Moved by Supervisor Mares, seconded by Supervisor Sorensen to accept amended agenda.  Motion carried.

5. Tonya Boutwell, Director of Nursing introduced to Committee. 

6. Moved by Supervisor Sorensen, seconded by Supervisor Johnson to approve minutes of 3/28/12.  Motion carried.

7. Melissa Drews Nursing Home Administrator gave report to include following:

a. Current census at Lakeview Manor  45

i. Medicaid         34

ii. Medicare/Insurance   3

iii. Private Pay      4

iv. Family Care     3

v. Hospice           1

8. Report on outstanding grievances.    

9. The Committee heard from Melissa Goke regarding the March ‘12 financials. 

10. The Committee reviewed Receipts and Disbursements for March ‘12.  Motion by Supr. Johnson seconded by Supr. Mares to approve reports.  Motion carried.

11. Melissa Drews requested an approval of On Call staff agreement with enhanced pay scale.  Motioned by Supervisor Sorensen and Seconded by Supervisor Johnson.  Motion carried.

12. The Committees’ next meeting will be on May 23^rd, 2012. 

13. Moved by Supervisor Johnson, seconded by Supervisor Mares to adjourn meeting at 9:50 AM.
