WAUPACA COUNTY HUMAN RESOURCES COMMITTEE

August 1, 2014

 

The Waupaca County HR Committee met in Room 1037 of the Waupaca County Courthouse at 9:00 a.m.  County Board Chair Dick Koeppen called the meeting to order and gave the open meeting statement.  Roll Call: County Board Chair Dick Koeppen, Supervisor Gerald Murphy, and Supervisor DuWayne Federwitz present.  Chair Gary Barrington excused.

 

OPEN SESSION

 

MOTION: Supervisor Murphy moved and Supervisor Federwitz seconded the motion to approve the agenda.  Motion carried without a negative vote.

 

MOTION:   Supervisor Federwitz moved and Supervisor Murphy seconded the motion to approve the minutes of the previous meetings.  Motion carried without a negative vote.

 

No public comment.

 

Discussion of Human Resources monthly report.  Updates provided on the status of recruitments, resignations/retirements, and interviews.  Date established for interview of Veterans Service Officer/Dept. Head position.

 

Review and discussion of 2015 new position and reclassification requests.

 

Review of the timeline for Department Head Performance Evaluations.

 

Discussion of 2014 6 month overtime reports.  Follow up discussion at next meeting with Highway Commissioner regarding overtime.

 

MOTION:   Supervisor Federwitz moved and Supervisor Murphy seconded the motion to go into Closed Session pursuant to WI State Statutes 19.85 (1) (c) for the purposes of consideration of individual employee performance.  Roll Call Vote: Koeppen, aye; Murphy, aye; Federwitz, aye.  11:10 a.m.

 

CLOSED SESSION

 

MOTION:   Supervisor Federwitz moved and County Board Chair Koeppen seconded the motion to adjourn in Closed Session.  Roll Call Vote: Koeppen, aye; Murphy, aye; Federwitz, aye.  11:30 a.m.
