WAUPACA COUNTY PLANNING & ZONING COMMITTEE

June 12, 2012

The Waupaca County HR Committee met jointly with the Waupaca County Planning & Zoning Committee in the Waupaca County Courthouse at 10:00 a.m. in meeting room 1068.  Planning and Zoning Committee Chair Jack Penney called the meeting to order and gave the open meeting statement.  Roll Call: Planning and Zoning Committee Chair Penney, HR Committee Chair Barrington, County Board Chair Dick Koeppen, Supervisor Federwitz, Supervisor Kussman, Supervisor T. Murphy, present.  Also present Finance & HR Committee Chair Loughrin. Supervisor G. Murphy and Supervisor Ellis excused.

OPEN SESSION

The committees discussed the current and future organization structure of the Planning & Zoning Department.  Review of draft organizational chart and draft job descriptions for the Zoning Administrator and a County Planning Director.

MOTION:   Supervisor Federwitz moved and Supervisor T. Murphy seconded the motion to approve replacing the existing Planner position with a County Planning Director.  Motion carried without a negative vote.

MOTION:   Supervisor Kussman moved and Supervisor Barrington seconded the motion to adjourn the meeting.  Motion carried without a negative vote.  10:45 a.m.
