The Committee discussed the request of assisting the Iola Old Car Show with the installation of directional signs to the grounds.  Because there are other county attractions that also lure tourists to the area, it was the consensus to assist the Iola Car Show with the purchasing of signs, aiding in the proper location of the signs and obtaining the proper permits.  No costs are to be incurred by the department.  No further action taken.

The Committee discussed the pedestrian trail proposed in the CTH B project near the Sturm property.  Discussion has been ongoing for a number of years.  It was agreed that the pedestrian trail will not be paved until the purchase or donation of land has occurred.  Currently this is outstanding in the amount of $9,100.  Suggested Committee members ask for a meeting with the City of Manawa and the representatives of Sturm Farms.  No further action taken.

Supervisor Aasen left the meeting, 10:20 am.
