May 16, 2014 Highway Committee Meeting
Chairman Flease called the regular meeting of the Waupaca County Highway Committee to order at 9:00 a.m. in the Waupaca County Highway Office conference room.
Members present – Chairman Flease, Supervisors Aasen, Jonely, McClone and Much.
Also present: Steve Lawrence, Foreman and Dean Steingraber, Highway Commissioner.
Chairman Flease presented the open meeting statement.
MOTION Much/McClone to approve the minutes of the May 2, 2014 regular and the May 9, spring road tour Committee Meeting. Passed, voice vote.
MOTION Jonely/Much to approve the May 16, 2014 regular meeting agenda of the Highway Committee. Passed, voice vote.
The Committee members reviewed one (1) bill batch dated May 8, 2014. MOTION Jonely/McClone to approve the bill batch as presented. Passed, voice vote.
Mr. Steingraber distributed the Commissioner’s Report which included;

Mr. Steingraber recommended that the committee approve the Appraisal Review Report and Offering Price Review for parcel number 25, Fred Moss and Marty Scheider for $10,700 for the CTH “E” (Waushara County Line to High Point Ridge) Design/Right of Way project. MOTION Jonely/McClone to approve the Appraisal Review Report and Offering Price Review for parcel number 25, Fred Moss and Marty Scheider for $10,700 for the CTH “E” (Waushara County Line to High Point Ridge) Design/Right of Way project. Passed, voice vote.
Mr. Steingraber recommended that the committee approve the Appraisal Review Report and Offering Price Review for parcel number 27, Jeffrey and Nicole Barton for $17,300 for the CTH “E” (Waushara County Line to High Point Ridge) Design/Right of Way project. Mr. Steingraber recommended that the committee approve the Offering Price for parcel number 36, Jon Dee and Julie Garcia for $4,100 for the CTH “E” (Waushara County Line to High Point Ridge) Design/Right of Way project. Mr. Steingraber asked the committee to accept the resignation of Charles Whitman effective June 2, 2014 and Jerry Olson effective May 29, 2014. MOTION Much/McClone to accept the resignation of Charles Whitman effective June 2, 2014 and Jerry Olson effective May 29, 2014. Passed, voice vote.
Mr. Steingraber recommended that the committee accept the bid for Carbide Insert Blades to Nordik Blades. MOTION Jonely/Aasen to accept the bid for Carbide Insert Blades to Nordik Blades. Passed, voice vote.
