May 9, 2014 Highway Committee Meeting

Chairman Flease called the Spring Road Tour meeting of the Waupaca County Highway Committee to order at   8:30 a.m. in the Waupaca County Highway Office.

Members present – Chairman Flease, Supervisors, Jonely, and McClone. Supervisor Aasen joined the meeting at 2 p.m. Supervisor Much was excused.  

Also present:  Dean Steingraber, Highway Commissioner and Jill Lodewegen, Administrative Assistant joined the meeting at 2 p.m.

Chairman Flease presented the open meeting statement and then the committee left for the Spring Road Tour.

The committee toured all County Highways that will be considered when developing the 2015-2019 Highway Improvement Plan.

The committee return from the Spring Road Tour at approximately 2 p.m. and were joined by Supervisor Aasen and Ms. Lodewegen.

Mr. Steingraber recommended that the committee approve the Right of Way plat and relocation order revision for the CTH “E” (Waushara County Line to High Point Ridge) project. MOTION Jonely/McClone to approve the Right of Way plat and relocation order revision for the CTH “E” (Waushara County Line to High Point Ridge) project. Passed, voice vote.

The committee discussed the 2014 budget adjustment. MOTION by McClone/Aasen to adjust the 2014 budget by reducing the CTH “T” (Collier Road to CTH “N”) by $1,062,574. This will be accomplished by reducing the project limits and minimizing overtime. The new limits for CTH “T” will be Collier Road to Crain Road.  Passed, voice vote.

MOTION Aasen/Jonely to adjourn at 3 p.m.  Passed, voice vote.
