February 22, 2013 Highway Committee Meeting

 

Chairman Flease called the regular meeting of the Waupaca County Highway Committee to order at

10:30 a.m. in the Waupaca County Highway Department office building.

 

Members present – Chairman Flease, Supervisors Jonely, Aasen and Peterson. Supervisor Mares was excused.

 

Also present were Dean Steingraber, Highway Commissioner and Jill Lodewegen, Administrative Assistant.

 

Chairman Flease presented the open meeting statement.

 

MOTION Jonely/Peterson to approve the minutes of the February 8, 2013 regular Committee Meeting.  Passed, voice vote.

 

MOTION Peterson/Jonely to approve the amended Agenda of the February 22, 2013 regular meeting of the Highway Committee with the addition of residency listed under item 15.  Passed, voice vote.

 

The Committee members reviewed one (1) bill batch printout dated 2/14/13.  MOTION Peterson/Aasen to approve the bill batch as presented.  Passed, voice vote.

 

Mr. Steingraber gave the Commissioner’s Report.

 

Mr. Steingraber recommended that the committee approve Revision #1 State/Municipal Agreement for the CTH “B” (Canadian National Railroad to Euclid Street) design for $110,000 which the County would be responsible for 20% ($22,000). MOTION Jonely/Peterson to approve Revision #1 State/Municipal Agreement for the CTH “B” (Canadian National Railroad to Euclid Street) design for $100,000  which the County would be responsible for 20% ($22,000).  Passed, voice vote.

 

Mr. Steingraber recommended that the committee approve the revision to the Relocation Order and the Revision to the Right of Way plat for CTH “T” (Collier Road to CTH “N”). MOTION Peterson/Jonely to approve the revision to the Relocation Order and the Revision to the Right of Way plat for CTH “T” (Collier Road to CTH “N”). Passed, voice vote.

 

Mr. Steingraber recommended that the committee accept all miscellaneous material bids.  MOTION Peterson/Jonely to accept all miscellaneous material bids.  Passed, voice vote.

 

 MOTION Jonely/Peterson to adjourn at 12:20 p.m.  Passed, voice vote.
