October 24, 2012 Special Highway Committee Meeting

 

 

Chairman Flease called the special meeting of the Waupaca County Highway Committee to order at 6:30 p.m. at the Larrabee Highway Shop.

 

Members present – Chairman Flease, Supervisors Jonely, Mares and Peterson. Supervisors Aasen was excused. 

 

Also present were Town of Matteson Supervisor Judy Zeuske; Town of Larrabee Supervisor Bob Hoffmann; Town of Bear Creek Chair Doug Behnke, Supervisors Dick Rohan and Bob Lettau; Town of Wyoming Supervisor Jim Portnoy; Town of Helvetia Chair Leonard Oppor, Supervisors Cal Preuss and Gary Chich; Town of Little Wolf Chair Tom Abraham and Supervisor Randy Elsner; Town of Dupont Supervisor Allen Johnson; Town of Union Supervisors Gary Schoen and Roger Henschel; Village of Embarrass President Tom Martin, Trustees Jerry Eggert and Bruce Galland, and Public Works Director Harld Schreiber; Village of Big Falls President Richard Lundt and Trustee Lee Baldwin; Waupaca County Highway Commissioner Dean Steingraber, Patrol Superintendent Lance Penney, Foreman Keith Boutwell and Bob Steenbock, Highway Workers Mike Jacoby, Todd Hintz and Bernie Ritchie.

 

Mr. Steingraber thanked the representatives for coming and for their work and cooperation with the Waupaca County Highway Department. He discussed bridge inspections and maintenance reports, signs, 2013 projects, 2012 projects and weight limits on roads.

 

A question and answer period followed Mr. Steingraber’s presentation.

 

The meeting adjourned at 7 p.m.  Lunch was served after the adjournment.
