Chairman Flease called the special meeting of the Waupaca County Highway Committee to order at 6:30 p.m. at the Waupaca Highway Shop.
Members present – Chairman Flease, Supervisors Jonely, Mares, Peterson and Aasen.
Also present were Town of Caledonia Chair Paula Pagel and Supervisors Gordon Koehler and Vance Knuth; Town of Matteson Chair DuWayne Federwitz; Town of Dayton Chair Chris Klein and Supervisors Bruce Golding and Glen Newsome: Town of Iola Chair Larry Thoe; Town of Farmington Supervisor Eugene Engebretson; Town of Lind Chair Lance Penney, Supervisor Steve Gall, Treasurer Ken Barrows and Clerk Colleen McCoy; Town of Mukwa Supervisor Lee Shaw; Town of Royalton Chair Duane Bork, Supervisors Gary Schafer, Alvin Thiel and Clerk Nancy Timm; Town of Waupaca Chair Mike Orr, Supervisors Gaylord Hansen, Mary Trice and Clerk Arden Sellin; Village of Ogdensburg Trustee Terry Johnson and Mr. Harold Clumpner; Village of Iola President Joel Edler and Trustee Dave Harper; Village of Scandinavia Trustee Tony Hawke and Trustee Mike Hayes and Bob Fredy; Waupaca County Highway Commissioner Dean Steingraber, Patrol Superintendent Dennis Bonnell, Highway Worker Al Kriesel.
Mr. Steingraber thanked the representatives for coming and for their work and cooperation with the Waupaca County Highway Department. He discussed bridge inspections and maintenance reports, signs, 2013 projects, 2012 projects and weight limits on roads.
A question and answer period followed Mr. Steingraber’s presentation.
The meeting adjourned at 7 p.m. Lunch was served after the adjournment.
