Minutes – September 7, 2012

 

Chr. Loughrin called the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m. and gave the opening meeting statement. 

 

Roll Call:  Chr. Loughrin, Suprs. Barrington, Craig-excused, Federwitz, Flease, G. Murphy, Penney and Co. Bd. Chr. Koeppen, present.  Others present:  Mary Robbins, Mandy Welch, Jackie Hoffmann, Melissa Stoiber, Jeff Siewert, Melissa Drews, Leighton Trice, Al Kraeger, Brad Hardel, John Snider, Jean Gliniecki, Ian Grasshoff, Roger Holman, Mike Koles, Brian Haase, Dean Steingraber, Chris Dalhoe, Heidi Dombrowski, Terrie Tews-Liebe, Chuck Price, Andy Carlin, Wayne Knutson.

 

Review and Approve Agenda.  Motion:  The motion carried without a negative vote.

 

Human Resource Director Amanda Welch-Classification & Compensation Study.  Mandy introduced Charlie Carlson from Carlson Dettmann, S.C.  Charlie explained the Findings and Recommendations.  A copy is on file with these minutes.  Health Care Benefit costs continue to be something the county needs to keep a handle on the rising costs to both employer and employee.  They will hold employee meetings after the County Board approval.  A Special County Board meeting will be held on Monday, September 17, 2012 at 9:00 a.m. to discuss and possibly approve the Findings and Recommendations of the Classification and Compensation Study.

 

Adjourn.  Motion:  Supr. Federwitz moved and Supr. Penney seconded the motion to adjourn the meeting at 11:20 a.m.  Meeting declared adjourned.
