EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEETING

 MINUTES – August 29, 2014

            County Board Chair Dick Koeppen called the meeting to order at 10:00 a.m. and gave the open meeting statement.

Roll call:  Chr. Dick Koeppen; Suprs. Barrington-excused, Federwitz, Flease, Johnson, Jonely, Kietzmann, Kussmann, McClone-excused, G. Murphy, T. Murphy, Penney, Sorensen, Craig and Neumann.

Open Session:

Review and Approve the Agenda.  Motion:  Supr. D. Kussmann moved and Supr. Sorensen seconded the motion to approve the agenda.  The motion carried without a negative vote.

Minutes of previous meeting.  Motion: Supr. Jonely moved and Supr. G. Murphy seconded the motion to approve the minutes from the July 2014 meeting.  Motion carried without a negative vote.

 Public Comment.  None.

NACo Registration Fees – allow for members of committees.  Clerk/Admin. Coordinator Robbins explained that Supr. Poehlman has requested that the committee look at adding registration fees to be covered for county members on a NACo Committee.  They do run $400 to $500 for registration. Chair Koeppen explained how other counties do the membership to NACo.  It is only the Co. Bd. Chair and maybe the Vice Chr. that serves on committees.  No change was recommended.

Motion:  Supr. Federwitz moved and Supr. G. Murphy seconded the motion to move into CLOSED SESSION pursuant to WI State Statutes 19.85 91)(c) for an employee performance evaluation.

Herein occurred closed session business.

Motion to adjourn in closed session.  Supr. Craig moved and Supr. Kussmann seconded the motion to adjourn at 11:15 a.m.  Roll call vote: Chr. Dick Koeppen-yes; Suprs.
