Meeting Minutes

Monday December 10, 2012

 

·     The Waupaca County Emergency Management Committee was called to order by, Chairman Dick Koeppen, at 9:00am.

 

      Members Present: Chairman Dick Koeppen, Vice Chairman Jim Loughrin, Supervisors: Robert Flease, Bill Jonely, Gary Barrington and Gerald Murphy

 

      Others Present: Andrew Carlin, Sue Weir

 

       

·     Opening meeting statement was read by Chairman Dick Koeppen

 

·     A motion was made by Supervisor Jonely and seconded by Supervisor Barrington to approve the minutes from the October 8,, 2012 meeting.  Motion carried.

 

·     A motion was made by Supervisor Flease and seconded by Supervisor Murphy to approve the agenda as written.  Motion carried. 

 

·         Items discussed included:

 

·         Submission of Basic Plan and ESFs 1-7 for 1st ˝ of FFY POW requirements

·         Submission of 5 - Off-site plans for 1st ˝ of FFY13 POW requirements

·         WEMA Conference

·         Final reimbursement for our Haz-mat grant

·         Submission  of EPCRA Strategic Plan/Haz-mat Materials Response update

·         MABAS meeting – Working on re-numbering of Fire Dept personnel & equipment

·         Table top exercise at Plover for a joint hazmat response

·         Haz-mat response to and fuel oil spill

·         Haz-mat response to the semi accident on HWY 10

·         A motion was made by Supervisor Flease and seconded by Supervisor Barrington to adjourn. Motion carried.
