Meeting Minutes

 

Monday July 9, 2012

 

·     The Waupaca County Informational Emergency Management Committee meeting was held at 9:00am.

 

      Members Present: Chairman Dick Koeppen, Supervisors Robert Flease, Gerald Murphy, Bill Jonely, and Gary Barrington

 

      Others Present: Andrew Carlin, Sue Weir and Chief Deputy Al Krueger

 

      Absent: Vice Chair Jim Loughrin,

 

·     Opening meeting statement was read by Chairman Dick Koeppen

 

·     A motion was made by Supervisor Flease and seconded by Supervisor Jonely to approve the minutes from the June 11, meeting.  Motion carried.

 

·     A motion was made by Supervisor Murphy and seconded by Supervisor Barrington to approve the agenda as written.  Motion carried. 

 

·     Waupaca Co Emergency Response Plan/Support Functions -Resolution 13 was presented to the committee for review and approval. A motion was made by Supervisor Barrington and seconded by Supervisor Jonely to approve the Resolution as presented and to forward it to the County Board.

 

·         Items discussed included:

o    Attendance at Dept Head/Finance, Communications & Policy meetings

o    Mobile Command Unit @ Manawa rodeo

o    Reprogramming of DNR Pagers

o    Quarterly LEPC meeting

o    County EMS meeting in @ NLMC

o    City of Waupaca exercise

o    Set-up PC for Tait

o    Meeting with WE Energy to discuss response issues

o    Farm Tech meeting

o    Radio switch over is scheduled July  26th  (functional testing on the 24-25th)

o    New Deputy Director position for 2013

o    EM Director sharing tower maintenance with Sheriff’s Dept

 

Motion made by Supervisor Flease and seconded by Supervisor Jonely to Adjourn.  Motion carried
