Present:  Janice Lytie, Wayne Laux, Patricia Craig, Mary Kay Poehlman, Christie Gonwa

Meet of the Committee on Aging was called to order at 9:00 am

I. Motion by Wayne Laux, second by Mary Kay Poehlman, to approve agenda.  Motion carried.

II. Motion by Wayne Laux, second by Mary Kay Poehlman, to approve minutes of September 30, 2014, with correction to the agency that the minutes were for September 30 rather than September 23.  Motion carried.

Public Comment – None

III. C-O-W ADRC Director Report was given.

IV. Aging and Disability Unit manager Report was given.

a. Update was given on the Advisory Committee Oversight.

b. Nutrition Program:

i. Motion by Wayne Laux, second by Mary Kay Poehlman, to accept the resignation of George Stepien.  Motion carried.

ii. Nutrition Site Meal Donate Rate and Meal Costs were reviewed.  Motion by Wayne Laux, second by Janice Lytie, to approve the rate of the actual meal at $7.35/meal and approve the donation rate of $4.00 effective for 2015.  Motion carried.

iii. Update was given on the Nutrition Site Audit

iv. Update was given on the need for volunteers, especially for the Waupaca Site.

v. Update was given on the Nutrition Assessments and Funding for 2014.

c. Prevention/THRIVES Spring Program update was given.

d. Update was shared on the Volunteer Program.

e. Transportation Advisory Committee Updates were given on the following:

i. 5304 Mobility Manager Study

ii. 5310 Vehicle Grant

V. Aging Network Report – GWAAR Program Update

a. Aging Plan for 2014 was reviewed.

b. Discussed preparation for the 2016-2018 Aging Plan.

VI. Next meeting is January 27, 2015 at the Iola Nutrition Site.

VII. Motion and second made to adjourn meeting.  Motion carried.
