1. Call meeting to order and Open Meeting Statement
Supervisor Kietzmann called the meeting to order at 8:30 am.
2. Roll call
Present were supervisors Kietzmann, Peterson, Neumann, Ellis. Supervisor Handrich was absent (excused).
Also present were: Connie Abert, Penny Tank, Sandy Liang, Christi Beilfuss, and Greg Blonde.
3. Review and accept Agenda
Motion by Ellis to accept agenda; Second: Peterson; Approved unanimously.
4. Review previous meeting minutes
Motion by Neumann to accept minutes from July meeting; Second by Ellis; Approved unanimously.
5. Educator Reports
· Current Program and Outcomes – Educators shared repots for the month of August.
Tank, Blonde, and Abert reported on the County Fair, which was August 20-24. Tank also thanked Beilfuss and Liang for their assistance during the fair.
· Educator Reports
Sandy Liang has been working on building families’ financial capability in Waupaca County. Her presentation highlighted two current focuses: 1) Money $mart in Head Start (MSiHS) and 2) a Community Financial Services Survey. Sandy provided a PowerPoint presentation.
· Department Head Report
Connie Abert reported on computer, software and answering machine changes made with office transition, budget meetings, cell phone service, projector for room 1037, LWC updates and communications, County Board meeting, and County supervisor conversations.
6. Old Business
· CNRED position update
Position has been posted. We will have more at next month’s meeting.
7. New Business
· 2015 Budget
Motion to approve a 0% increase in the budget for 2015 made by Ellis; Second by Neumann; Approved unanimously.
