EXTENSION EDUCATION COMMITTEE
DATE AND TIME: Monday, April 28, 2014 – 8:30am

1. Call meeting to order and Open Meeting Statement
Supervisor Kietzmann called the meeting to order at 8:34 am.
2. Roll call
Present were Supervisors Kietzmann, Handrich, Trinrud, Neumann. Absent: Supervisor Ellis (excused)
Also present were: Christi Beilfuss, Connie Abert, Penny Tank, Greg Blonde and Mike Koles.
3. Review and accept Agenda
Motion to accept Agenda was made by Handrich; Second: Neumann; Approved unanimously.
4. Election of Officers
· Chair
Handrich nominated Kietzmann as Chair; Neumann made motion to close nominations and cast a unanimous ballot for Kietzman; Second: Trinrud. Kietzmann is Chair by unanimous vote.
· Vice Chair
Kietzmann nominated Handrich as Vice Chair; Neumann made motion to close nominations and cast a unanimous ballot for Handrich; Second: Trinrud. Handrich is Vice Chair by unanimous vote.
5. Review previous meeting minutes
Motion to accept March minutes made by Handrich; Second by Neumann; Approved unanimously.

7. Educator Reports
· Current Program and Outcomes – all educators
All Educators handed out reports.
· Educator Reports – Greg
Greg reported on a cattle feeder seminar he coordinated in February. He also noted his work with Sandy on the recently conducted Family Health and Business Management Conference.
· Department Head Report
Mike provided WACEC registration materials.
8. Old Business
· North Central Regional WACEC Meeting Report – Kietzmann and Koles
Mike and Carl gave a report on sessions they attended at the conference last Monday.

County Board Tour Update
Mike provided an update on the current status of the tour.
9. New Business
· John Thiel’s Summer Internship
Connie reported on the MOU with UWSP to allow for John’s summer internship.
· County Supervisor Orientation
