EXTENSION EDUCATION COMMITTEE

1. Call meeting to order and Open Meeting Statement Peterson
Supervisor Peterson called the meeting to order at 8:30am
2. Roll call Peterson
Present were: Supervisors Peterson, Handrich, Kietzmann, Neumann, and Loughrin.
Also present were: Christi Beilfuss, Greg Blonde, Penny Tank, Sandy Liang and Mikayla Wehrle, Sandy Knoll 4-H member.
Absent were: Connie Abert and Mike Koles (both excused)
3. Review previous meeting minutes Peterson
Motion to accept Februarys minutes was made by Kietzmann; Second: Handrich: Approved unanimously.
4. Review and accept Agenda
Motion: Kietzmann; Second: Handrich; Approved unanimously.

6. Educator Reports
· Current Program and Outcomes all educators
Educator reports were provided from Blonde, Abert, Tank, Beilfuss and Liang. Blonde shared an update on swine PEDv and changes to our county fair swine project.
· Educator Reports Penny and Mikayla Wehrle, Sandy Knoll 4-H member
Mikayla Wehrle spoke about 4-H Exchange to Tanzania and 4-H influences on her life.
· Department Head Report Tank
Penny handed out State WACEC announcement for June 23 & 24 meeting in Eau Claire.
7. Old Business
· North Central Region WACEC on 4-21-14
Carl and Don will plan transportation with Mike.
8. New Business
· County Board Tour Clintonville
Ok bring location suggestions next month.
· 4-H Centennial Resolution Tank and Wehrle
Motion by Neumann; Second: Handrich; approved unanimously to adopt resolution to go to County Board through Legislative Committee.
· Thank you to Jim Loughrin.
Greg, on behalf of the UWEX office, thanked Jim for all his years of service on the County Board and the Extension Committee.
