EXTENSION EDUCATION COMMITTEE

1. Call meeting to order and Open Meeting Statement – Peterson
Supervisor Peters called the meeting to order at 8:34
2. Roll call – Peterson
Present were: Supervisors Peterson, Kietzmann, Handrich, Loughrin.
Absent: Neumann (excused)
Also present: Christi Beilfuss, Greg Blonde, Mike Koles, Penny Tank (arrived at 8:38), Amanda Meyers (Farm 2 School)
Absent: Connie Abert (excused)
3. Review previous meeting minutes – Peterson
Motion: Handrich; Second: Kietzmann; Approved unanimously.
4. Review and accept Agenda
Motion: Loughrin; Second: Handrich: Approved unanimously.

6. Educator Reports
· Introduction of Christi Beilfuss
Christi introduced herself and gave an update on what she’s been working on.
· Current Program and Outcomes – all educators
Penny reported that awards night is coming up and invited the committee. Greg invited the supervisors to today’s pasture walk and provided an update on the Rural Health Initiative. Mike reported on Economic Development teaching that he has been doing and also invited supervisors to Quantum Dairy during November’s LWC session.
· Educator Reports
Amanda Meyer presented on the Farm 2 School programs and her progress developing collaborations with schools.
· Department Head Report - Koles
Mike reported on Connie’s efforts to develop strategy plans for school districts.
7. New Business
· Copier-Printer Lightning Strike Replacement
Mike reported on the status of the copier/printer. It was hit by lightning and needs to be replaced with a new one.
