GOVERNMENTAL BODY:          WAUPACA COUNTY AGRICULTURE AND

EXTENSION EDUCATION COMMITTEE

DATE AND TIME:                          Monday, October 29, 2012 – 8:30 a.m.

PLACE:                                             Room 1037, Waupaca County Courthouse

                                                            811 Harding Street, Waupaca, WI

OPEN SESSION:  This meeting and all other meetings are open to the public.  Proper notice has been posted and given to the press, in accordance with Wisconsin statutes so that the citizens may be aware of the time, place, and agenda of this meeting.

1. Call meeting to order and Open Meeting Statement – Peterson

Supervisor Don Peterson called the meeting to order at 8:00 am.

2. Roll call - Peterson

Loughrin, Peterson, Kietzmann, Handrich

Others present:  Mike Koles, Greg Blonde, Alyson Bechard, Connie Abert, Penny Tank, Marilyn Herman; Jamie Hein; Christa Behnke; Mary Beilfuss; Mandy Kriesel, Billy Lease

3. Review previous meeting minutes - Peterson

September meeting minutes were approved.  Motion:  Loughrin; Second:  Kietzmann; Motion carried unanimously.

4. Review and accept Agenda  

Motion:  Kietzmann; Second:  Handrich; Motion carried unanimously.

6. Educator Reports

· Current Programs and Outcomes

All educators provided reports.

· Leadership Waupaca County class project from Class XIII was presented by the guests noted in the attendance.

· Department Head Report
Koles reported that the Finance Committee had accepted all of the department budgets.

7. Unfinished Business

· Fair
Kay and Mike are playing phone tag trying to schedule a joint meeting.

8. New Business

· Food Day
The Committee approved a Food Day resolution.  Motion Handrich; second Kietzman; passed unanimously.
