Call meeting to order and Open
Meeting Statement
Murphy called the meeting to order at 8:40am.
2.
Roll call
Handrich, Federwitz, Loughrin, and Murphy present. Others present: Luchini,
Blonde, Koles, Abert, Herman, and Tank (arrived 8:55am). Excused: Peterson.
3.
Review previous meeting minutes
December meeting minutes were approved. Motion: Handrich; Second: Loughrin;
Motion carried unanimously.
4. Review and accept Agenda – Motion: Federwitz; Second: Handrich; Motion carried unanimously.

6. Educator Reports
· Educator Reports
All Educators provided January reports.

Oral Educator Reports
Luchini reported on her programming with 4th graders through the 4th
Grade Vegetable Challenge.
Tank reported on her continued work with the 4-H charters.

Department Head Report
Koles reported on the WACEC convention. Supervisors talked about Amish Food
Auction, Heart Health, and Barn Quilts. Federwitz that it was the Cooperative
Extension 100 year anniversary and noted that this would be good to talk about
at the County Board. Koles mentioned 100 year anniversary opportunities that
the office will be discussion a plethora of options.
7. Unfinished Business
o New Support Staff-Carrie Koehn introduced herself.

Koles gave Board members a tour of
the office reorganization.
8. New Business
o The Fair topic will be put on the March agenda.
