10.  Membership:  On going.

Cliff Morton was introduced.  He is a representative from Fresh Start which is a program sponsored by CAP Services.  This program is offered to youth (ages 17 – 24) who need extra assistance to be capable of finding employment and becoming self sufficient.

11.  Roundtable Sharing:  Bill Lipschultz shared that the Tip Soft Program is working very well.  The program has aided in several quick arrests.

A discussion took place regarding a program to help kids in our area.  Bill knows a gentleman who would devote his time and money to such a program.  Many suggestions were made and many people and programs that are already in place were discussed.

Sherry  Fisher noted that the WINS compliance checks for sale of tobacco products to minors was completed last week.  18 compliance checks were done in Waupaca County and 6 retailers sold tobacco to minors.  Last year 56 checks were done with 2 sales to minors.  Very disappointing that six tobacco retailers are forgetting their responsibility not to sell to underage children.

11. Next Meeting:  Sherry made the suggestion to not meet in July.  Pastor Greg Watling will not be here for July, August and September meetings as he will be on sabbatical.  Connie Abert will speak to D.A. John Snider to see if he will be able to present the draft MOU at the July meeting.  Judge Hoffman noted that August meeting may be an issue due to the Waupaca County Fair as Connie Abert will be at the Fair.  Connie will notify all of us as to the date of the next meeting.
