Minutes for September 26, 2012

 

Present: D.A. John Snider, Sherry Fisher, Clintonville Police Officer, Mark Zachow, Mary Kay Poehlman, Terry Taylor, Mary Anich, Connie Abert, Pastor Greg Watling, Honorable Judge Hoffman, MaryLea St. Thomas

 

1.  7:35 AM call to order by Connie Abert.

2.  Roll Call

3.  It was noted that the meeting had been properly advertised and posted.

4.  Motion to approve agenda by John Snider, 2nd by Judge Hoffman.  Motion carried.

5.  Motion to approve the July 25, 2012 meeting minutes (There was not a meeting in August.) by Greg Watling,  second by Honorable Judge Hoffman.   Motion carried.

6.  Treasurer’s report:  Checking account $813.70.  Savings Account $630.52.  It was noted that Sherry had incorrectly reported check account as $413.70.  She verified with the bank that one of the grant award checks had not been cashed so $817.70 is the correct amount as of 9-24-12.  Motion to approve the treasurer’s report by John Snider, 2nd Mark Zachow.  Motion carried. 

 

a)  Grants:  NL School, Waupaca Crime Stoppers, Parents Who Host Lose the Most, and the Clintonville Police Chief, Terry Lorge have completed their reports.

 

b)  Information Sharing Program/MOU:  Connie is to send each of us a copy of the revised MOU to review and will discuss at the October meeting.

 

8.  Discussion took place regarding a fall educational program, possibly a Thursday or Friday at the beginning of December.  Internet Safety will be our next education topic and Mary Kay Poehlman will get in touch with Pete Thielen and report back to the committee.

 

9.  Proposed Legislation discussion:  No discussion at this time.

 

10.  Best Practice Programs:  No discussion at this time.

 

11.  Membership:  Terry Taylor to check with Jodi Glodowski, Connie Abert to contact Faith Edgren and Sherry Fisher to contact Brett Rodenz regarding their memberships.  Sherry Fisher to talk with Bill Lipschultz regarding becoming a citizen representative on WCACCJ.

 

12.  Roundtable: Officer Mark Zachow reported that there is a federal investigation being done at Schutt Industry in Clintonville.

 

13. Next Meeting October 24, 2012 at 7:30 AM in the D.A. Conference Room.
